More notably, in the competitive field of over 500Ah, EVE Lithium Energy has launched 560Ah energy storage cells, while VISION Group has developed 580Ah energy storage cells, demonstrating a strong competitive trend.


1.EVELithium Energy 560Ah

Last year, EVE Energy Storage released a 560Ah energy storage battery - LF560K, with a battery capacity of 560Ah and a single battery energy of 1.792kWh. LF560K is twice the common size of 280Ah square cells, equivalent to two 280Ah cells placed horizontally side by side, with a single cell weight of 10.95kg. Global delivery is expected to begin in Q2 2024.

In May 2023, 320Ah and 340Ah top energy storage cells were released, both based on the current 72 * 174 size specifications of grid side energy storage cells. They are fully compatible with existing energy storage application scenarios and achieve breakthroughs in volume energy density, safety performance, cycle life, and other aspects. It will officially go on sale in Q2 2023.

It is worth noting that REPT  reached a cooperation agreement with leading American integrator POWIN in April 23, marking that REPT  will supply advanced energy storage battery products of 3GWh to POWIN in the next 12 months.

 

The volume energy density of the 320Ah Wending energy storage battery cell reaches 400Wh/L, with a cycle life of over 10000 times and a calendar life of over 20 years. It saves 5% on raw material and component costs.

The volume energy density of the 340Ah Wending energy storage cell has been upgraded to 430Wh/L, which is at the forefront of the industry in terms of cell capacity, safety performance, energy efficiency, cycle life, calendar life, and other aspects.

 

4.SVOLTEnergy 325Ah

The SVOLT Energy 325Ah short blade stacked energy storage cell adopts flying stack technology, with a long and thin short blade design. The long cycle version has a cycle life of up to 12000 times, significantly improving the safety of the cell compared to traditional VDA energy storage cells. With the advantages of long lifespan, low temperature resistance, and high cost-effectiveness, it has a rated capacity of 305Ah, a weight to energy ratio of ≥ 180Wh/kg, a volume to energy ratio of ≥ 383Wh/L, a normal temperature cycle life of 10000 times, and a high temperature cycle of 5000 times. At the same time, it can meet -10 ℃ charging, fully reducing energy consumption for battery heating or environmental temperature control.

 

 

 

9.Battero TECHNew Energy 314Ah

As an upgraded version of 280Ah energy storage cells, the 314Ah cells launched by Battero TECH New Energy are expected to be mass-produced by the end of September 2023, using a winding process. The actual capacity can reach about 330Ah, with a size of 71173.

It is revealed that the 314Ah battery cells of Battero TECH New Energy have passed multiple certifications. Battero TECH New Energy plans to build a new 45GWh battery production line and lithium-ion battery cell modules, with an expected annual output value of over 40 billion yuan after reaching production capacity.

 

10.CORNEXNew Energy 306Ah/314Ah/320Ah

These three energy storage cells are mainly wound and have the same size as 280Ah energy storage cells. CORNEX New Energy has established three major bases in Jiangxia, Yichang, and Xiaogan, Wuhan, and has started construction and production in stages. The total investment in the next few years will exceed 100 billion yuan, of which the fixed assets investment will exceed 50 billion yuan, and the planned total capacity will exceed 400GWh.

Gotion High tech has exhibited 300Ah energy storage battery cells, and currently, the order volume of Gotion High tech's 300Ah battery cells is relatively saturated. The size of Gotion High tech 300Ah energy storage battery cells is the 81 size series, which is different from the 71 size series that is currently popular in the energy storage market. The considerations mainly stem from the insistence on one's own technology, as well as its ability to co wire with 340Ah power cells.

Gotion High Tech stated that the current energy storage market is large enough and it is unlikely that one size can be unified. Gotion High tech will adhere to the 81 size series in the future, and the next generation of energy storage cells will reach at least 330Ah.

In April, Naradapower launched a 305Ah energy storage dedicated battery. This product has a super long lifespan of 20 years, a volumetric energy density of over 380Wh/L, a cycle life of up to 12000 times, and an energy efficiency of over 95%.

This product has the same size as the existing 280Ah energy storage battery and adopts a unique four roll core stacked design. It will be put into mass production in 2023.

 

19.Ganfeng Lithium Battery 314Ah

Since 2023, Ganfeng Lithium has implemented four battery projects with a total investment of 35 billion yuan. Its energy storage battery production capacity is planned to reach 23GWh, and 314Ah is expected to be mass-produced in Q4, with dimensions similar to 280Ah energy storage cells.

We plan to invest a total investment of 5 billion yuan in the construction of a new 10GWh lithium battery and energy storage headquarters project in Dongguan City. The project construction includes research and development bases and production lines for lithium iron phosphate, semi-solid battery cells, lightweight power batteries, outdoor portable energy storage power supplies, industrial and commercial energy storage systems, and household energy storage.
