In a certain business scenario, lawbreakers tamper with the merchants' payment QR codes. The original and legitimate QR codes of the merchants (marked with “Original Real QR code” and a green tick symbol) are replaced with fake ones (marked with “Tampered Fake QR code” and a red cross symbol). When consumers scan the codes for payment, the funds are transferred to the accounts of the lawbreakers, causing economic losses to the merchants.
